Prior to my mother having a stroke and entering a nursing home, she loved eating those red and white mint candies. She hasn't been able to have them anymore as it is feared she will choke and really misses them. Thanks to these sugar free peppermint lollipops she can safely enjoy her mints again. Last year I played Santa at a Santa house. I advertised the suckers for children who couldnt have sugar and had parents bringing there kids just because of the sugar free candy. Then on Christmas Day I went to a nursing home and gave each resident that was diabetic a sucker instead of a candy cane and the staff and residents were so impressed that santa cared enough to worry about the diabetics that I have been asked back this year.
